I was by Ground Zero this morning. Freedom Tower is making nice progress, really looks like it's going to be beautiful. I had a strange feeling walking those streets, after watching the firefighter documentary the other night. But then I thought there was so much hope and future in that shiny new thing. And I had this beautiful thought: on the most ordinary of days, the most extraordinary things can happen. That's my mantra for the day.
