Had a great holiday weekend, here are some highlights:


I spent most of the weekend in my pajamas with my brother's chiuaua on my lap. Very relaxing :)




The turkey prep was not simple. It had to be injected with a special sauce in a special syringe and needle and took quite a while to make...




It was worth the wait though, absolutely delicious! Not that I ever had any food in this house that wasn't absolutely delicious.

And it wasn't over: the next morning, after cleaning up the mess, we were rewarded with this lunch:
The are called Aebleskivers or Danish Pancake Balls, they also took quite a special talent to prepare and were yummy!



Now, it's time for a diet until Christmas :)
