The reason to go on

The teacher in my yoga class today was trying to make us do splits, of course, I and many others are just way too inflexible for that. As we were grunting and sighing, some people in the class were easily doing the splits, the teacher said something that stayed with me: she said that if there was someone who didn't have any problems, he or she could might as well check out and move on to the next world because having problems is what makes us go on, what gives us reason to go on and try to solve those problems and improve and be a better person. Without problems and setbacks, there would be no happiness and no fight. It would just be extremely boring.

Mégis a fiatalság egyik jellemzője a szomorúság.
